NEW MUSIC GENRE "ANIMAL MUSIC"

HELP FOR ENDANGERED SPECIES

ANIMALS UNITED IN SONG

THE TRILOGY COLLECTION

“Neftali’s Beast” first appeared on the music scene in 1980 with “Land Of The Drums” released on Capital Records as a single. The song became a dance hit in Europe and a “must have” for DJs today. Land of the drums introduced animal sounds in rhythm along with instruments in a very unique way with a Mellotron.

Neftali recently went on a sound expedition discovering pure“Animal Music”! Animal music is a new genre and art form using 100% animal sounds; no kick drum, no hand claps, no hi-hat or keyboards were used. Neftali was out to prove an “all animal recording" could be made and become popular as a new art form and not a novolty. It took Neftali 12 months to cut and paste in real time the hundreds of pieces of animal sounds, no sequencing. Neftali wanted a pure organic creation. Being the first of it’s kind Neftali released the demo version of “Animals United In Song” as a time stamp for a new genre in October 2013.

Neftali: "The purpose for creating this recordings is to give endangered animals a voice. Too many animals are becoming extinct and hopefully this song will inspire people to help. My song shows a different way of presenting animal vocalization and awareness. 50% of the writers royalties will go to species survival groups throughout the world such as "Pandrillus". If you are or know of such a group in need please contact us to get on the funding list.

This trilogy started with version #1 at 96 tempo moving to 130 at the surprise ending, no lyrics.

Version #2 at 120 tempo with added animals, lyrics, and a new animal solo.

Version #3 is kept at 120 tempo without lyrics plus added animals. All versions uniquely different".

Neftali  after researching the baboon "Drill leucophaeus", found out they were  the #1 endangered primate in Africa. Neftali feels he has spiritually connected with the Drills and their Plight. He reached out and found a hand full of people that feel the same way he does about helping the Drill. Together they are trying to keep the Drills from going extinct:

Liza Gadsby and Peter Jenkins  from "Pandrillus" ranch.
Liza, Peter, and Neftali have had an understanding and bond for years. Neftali has made a commitment to Pandrillus to spread the knowledge of the Drills plinth.

Gail Hearn Ph.D. who heads up the Bioko project, Bioko being one of the only places Drills are still spotted in the wild.

Rolland Wolf,  Drill keeper at the Hannover Zoo in Germany. While touring in Europe in 1999 Neftali met his e-mail friend who also supports Pandrillus. The two  had a very good talk about the survival of  Drills and helping Liza and her Drills.  Rolland  follows Liza in successfully breeding drills in captivity with eighteen Drills.
