Santiago Band

1976

Santiago was formed soon after Neftali parted from Madrill in 1976. It took three member forms all with Joe Byrne. The first and only single from Santiago, the band was "Feelin Good". It was released regionally in Philly and Washing.ton, DC. Santiago band toured with the Ohio Players and Gill Scott Heron. Joining Neftali was Joe Byrne, Rocky and Eddie Duarte.

Santiago Band debut was in Philly and on hand to celebrate was Omar Mesa from Mandrill and Bernice and Debbie from the "Betty Davis"group. Neftali:"It was a great night of music that I will never forget".
